Suspended Companies

Companies registered with TransFair Canada may be suspended for a variety of reasons, including:

• Failure to report Fair Trade transactions
• Failure to correct issues identified in a certification audit by an agreed upon deadline
• Failure to correct issues related to misuse of a Fair Trade certification mark
• Delinquency of fee payment

Suspension means a company is not allowed to enter into new contracts for Fair Trade Certified products but may fulfill existing contracts.
